Chiddingstone
Castle, near Edenbridge, Kent, has a fantastic display of Egyptian
objects, some of which have “never been on display”...before!
These objects are just some of those collected by the late antiquarian,
Denys Eyre Bower, who owned the Castle from 1955 to 1977. Other
items in the Egyptian Collection have been loaned to the Houston
Museum of Natural Science in Texas – having been recognised
as an outstanding collection......Click

the presence of an oversize Fairtrade Coffee mug, giant Fairtrade
bananas and balloons or by having the wonderful Fairtrade Cotton
Bunting (created a year or so back by the town’s school
children) festooned over its mellow bricks.
